HOW TO BE SAVED

Here is what we must do to receive salvation:

We must “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31.

We must repent (turn from our sins).  “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3.

We must confess our sins to Jesus. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5

We must confess Jesus before men.  “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 (A.S.V.)

If you are reading this and have not done the things stated above, do it now for the Lord is near.  “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.” Isaiah 55:6.

Do it now – “Behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2.

Do it now – “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?” Hebrews 2:3.

Do it now – “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Do it now – “Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Proverbs 27:1

Please, do it now – “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36.

Every one of us shall give account of himself to God – Romans 14:12.

It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment – Hebrews 9:29, but he that believeth on him . . . shall not come into judgment. – John 5:24.

Choose you this day whom ye will serve. – Joshua 24:15.
